Just a quick update...
I will not be posting daily until things settle down. Between the packing and visits, I just do not have time.
I hope everybody is well...

The scouting trip...
My first trip over was Fantastic!!!
It started with the plane ride. I was fortunate enough to be sitting next to a gentlemen who works for the ICRC (a government agency in Switzerland) and also happened to be a photographer. What luck! His name is Fred Clarke and was amazingly interesting...he traveled all over the world and was a great help making me feel relaxed about the upcoming move. He was also a very generous person. He kindly sent me a massive list of links that will allow me to do many things in the land of chocolate. I am sure that I will see him again in the future. Once there it just got better...
Tom and I had some fantastic meals...one of which was at LeDeck
Took a day trip to Geneva...we had a great time just exploring...
One of the last things we did was have an Amazing dinner in Lutry with Tom's friend Norma and her husband Jeff. Thanks to them and Simon for a truly fabulous dinner...

Beau-Rivage Palace Lausanne |
The taxi ride from the airport was pretty interesting itself. It cost over 200cf (Swiss francs...OMG). The folks at the hotel (Beau-Rivage Palace Lausanne) were the kindest, sweetest, most lovely place and people you would ever want to interact with.
My adventures were different but still very exciting. Tom was mainly in meetings during the day so I just tried my best to get lost...and I did. My adventures in dining were even more fun...this was topped off by my ordering of a cheeseburger. I was having a beautiful, peaceful, lunch in Montreux over looking Lake Geneva and I ordered what I thought was a cheeseburger. I ended up with a wheel of Brie on a bun with tomato and pickles. Odd but fantastic..
I am looking forward to having many more interesting adventures in food and surroundings real soon.
Love to all...
