Barrington Resort and Spa: April 2011

The past few weeks have been a major blur, a good blur, yet still a blur... A day or two before Stuart left us, James and Greg joined us. It was the best thing a slightly homesick person could ask for. For their journey and for their friendship we thank and love them very much!
>> First I will give a few updates then move on to the festivities...
- Tom is working hard but adjusting to the vast differences in Italian business life... He has some cultural hurdles to overcome, I am positive he will triumph in whatever gets placed in his way. He is just that good!
- My Italian is coming along slowly but surely - I have a feeling my tutor will be committed long before I fully learn the language at hand. My garden has been started. I have some wonderful tomato, basil, and pepper seedlings growing. I hope they yield much produce for a fresh sauce and great salads.
Now let's move on...
James and Greg were with us for about 10 days and it is amazing what you can fit into that time. They had the grand tour of all things Italy. We did somethings I have seen before and many things new to me! We did Rome, Florence (Firenze), Sorrento, Positano, and Pompeii. It is truly amazing the beauty, history, and art that exists here. Here is just a small slice of what we did...I will post more of journey later (I finally found the limit to the blog size)! As always - I love/miss you all and hope you enjoy this posting!
