Ok - we are finally on the last leg of our amazing vacation!
Two stops left - SanRemo and Lake Como, Italy (With a nod to Stressa and Bussina Vecchio - two beautiful places we passed through along the way).
After leaving Monaco we drove to the amazing quaint peaceful village/city of SanRemo.

A few miles away from San Remo on the top of a hill/mountain was a great little village called Bussina Vecchio. In the area it is known as an artists village. We decided to take a ride up, walk around and have a little lunch!

After some gorgeous weather, a little wandering, some definite relaxing and a few amazing meals at 'delle Palme' it was time to head out and up to Lake Como and the Villa D'Este! This place it just too perfect - if you ever get the chance...GO!

All good things must come to an end - but not yet!
After a few days at Ville D'Este it was time to start heading home...
We packed up the car and started the 4 hour drive...
But we decided to stop at a lovely town called Stresa on Lake (Lago) Maggiore in the Piemonte region of Northern Italy.

It was about a 4 hour ride home to Lausanne Switzerland.
Memories of an amazing, fabulous, great, wonderful, stimulating, relaxing vacation still in our heads!

My next posting will be a summary of some of the little trips we have done between now and then...
The weather in Switzerland is getting cold. Some snow can be seen on the mountains and we turn our clocks back next weekend.
