Casa del Padrino (House of the Godfather I, II & III)...

Castello degli Schiava (Castle of the Slaves)...
If you are ever in Sicily it is a must visit! This is the house where parts of all three Godfather movies were filmed.
  • GF1 - the famous scene where Michael Corleone's wife Abolonia was blown up in a car and where he was sent for safety from the other families.
  • GF2 - some flashback scenes.
  • GF3 - the end, where Michael Corleone dies of old age in the courtyard...
Here we go...
Castello degli Schiava...
...& its famous courtyard!

First we saw the family church...

...realizes he set the bomb!

Where Pacino watched Abolonia
and the car explode...
Where Pacino & Scorcece talked
about script & scenes...

Then the tour of the inside of the house. The grand cellar where the crew ate & partied and his living quarters with an amzing amount of family history...
