Surf-n-Turf Photos Part 4...

I do apologize for the delay in posting more of our now 2 month old vacation - I have been having technical difficulties with the laptop I do the postings on (and it has all the photos). Also, life has been a little busy but fun!
So, I think I left off in Livorno - that means the next stop was Portovenre (Cinqua Terre). I will try and get through that port and the landing in Monaco (which will include Monaco, Nice & Eze and Monte Carlo).
Here we go...
Our boat for the trip around...
...the 5 lands by sea!

A bright sunny day with my honey!
And a bright sunny me!

Off on our sea journey, past the castle
and around to the first town!

Our first stop was the fifth town...
...Monterosso al Mare!

Beautiful little town...
...with great doors!

My honey and me...
...waitin' for our boat!

Off to our 2nd stop the 3rd town...
...the cute Vernazza!

The boat was rockin', waves crackin'...
...but people were swimming!

They were nutz!
Our ride for the day!

My honey & me in Vernazza...
Just an adorable town!

It was a great day but now time to go back the lovely Seabourn Seajourn for our last night aboard.
Time for a wonderful dinner, a little soft music and cocktails with new friends!
Tom & the talented Jamie!
Mr. Darcy & Robbie from NZ!

We got in early, disembarked and couldn't check into the hotel so we scheduled this trip in the 'Air Conditioned Motorcoach' to see the Eze an mountain top bohemian colony (formally a castle) and the lovely French town of Nice. Let's take a look...

The Port of Monaco...
...& our Air Conditioned Motorcoach!

Eze, The Village of Art & Food!
Atop a mountain!

Time to start up the mountain, by foot
To an amazing Medieval City...

Up the stairs...
...& the magic begins!

Amazing antiques...
...a beautiful church...

...& colorful plants/flowers!
Bye Eze...off to Nice!

First stop, high above Nice w/Tom...
...& me, looking down to the port!

Then off to the center of Nice...
...and a magnificent fountain!

A wonder around...
...nice ride!

And what we came to Nice for...tada...
The colors...
The flavors...

The variety...
...& the smells!

After leaving Nice, all of the people of the tour with us were going to the airport - but not us! We ended up with a private tour bus ride back to Monaco/Monte Carlo and to our hotel!

Next stop...Monaco!
From our room - a view of the boat...

The beaches of Monte Carlo...
Love the little boats in this photo!

And at 4pm - our boat sailed away...
...Bon Voyage Seajourn!

Next we decided to wander around the world famous Monte Carlo!
Great Art, Extremely Expensive Cars and Boy George?

Our hotel - The Fairmont!
"The Casino" Monte Carlo

Everything shiny...
...& very colorful!

Our little Principality...
...& we got tickets! Cool!

The next day we went up to the Prince's Castle, saw his car collection and had an amazing dinner (thank you Simon and Jackie Gale for the recommendation).
Albert II, Prince of Monaco's Castle...
...No Photos! Yeah...right!

Amazing art & design!
Me studying canon law! lol

Love the irony...
The view down from the castle...

Now off to...
...the Prince's Car Collection.
Over 100 classic cars & carriages.
All amazing - I will just show you
a few!

An old Alpine...
A 1971 Lotus...

Great little BMW...
...and a 1911 Super!

Back at the hotel - my new ride!
An amazing dinner with my honey!

Off to the Sporting Center for...
...a night with Boy George!!!

Tom in the Sporting Center...
...our view of the stage! Not bad...

Great night,
Great show!
Thank you, Tom!

Of course, there were no photos or video allowed but everybody was doing it - so here is a little of the concert! Some classic Boy George (and the Culture Club - without the Culture Club).
A little - 'Church of the Poison Mind'

We folks - I am going to end this posting here...
My back is killing me from typing (just getting old I guess).
In the next posting - the last of our Surf-n-Turf Holiday - San Remo and Lake Como!

All is well with Tom & I  - we are looking forward to the holidays and coming back to the states for a little bit and seeing as many friends/family that we can.

For now - we wish love and happiness to everyone!
Ciao for now!
Ron & Tom
